Program on February 21st

We invite everybody interested in the celebration of mother language and the topic of linguistic diversity to join the program initiated by the Bangladesh PressClub Centre of Alberta (BPCA) on February 21, 2015.

The program will be held at Grant MacEwan University, Students' Association (Premises) in Edmonton and officially start at 12.00 pm with a floral tribute to Bangladeshs' language martys, who left their lives for the recognition of their Bangla mother language, an event considered as the inspiration for International Mother Language Day on February 21st.

Later that day at 01.00 pm the Bangladesh Heritage and Ethnic Society of Alberta (BHESA) will enrich the program with a children's drawings competition, a general discussion and cultural programs. We will also distribute BPCA's 2015 edition of the International Mother Language Day Magazine during the event.

In the hope to meet you all in person at February 21st we are looking forward with excitement. Visit our Projects in Edmonton Page for detailed information.
